New account, first post here. I want to share with you a dataset I spent several months building but I feel it's not a right idea to give it for free due to the effort spent to collect it. Free sample below — judge it before donating anything.

What it is

There is a YouTube channel called "Bitcoin Puzzle 71 Prefixes" that displays private keys in the #71 range whose addresses share a leading prefix with the puzzle target. The keys are flashed far too fast for a human to read and the frames are visually distorted, apparently on purpose.

I recovered them anyway:

- Downloaded every video on the channel

- Extracted all frames

- GPU-accelerated OCR with preprocessing to handle the distortion

- Deduplicated and cleaned

Result: ~1,000,000 rows of <71-bit hex key>,<address>, all with the 1PWo3JeB prefix, all inside the #71 range.

What I am NOT claiming — read this before buying

I do not believe this data helps solve puzzle #71, and I'm not going to imply otherwise to make a sale.

Addresses are Base58Check(RIPEMD160(SHA256(pubkey))). Hashing destroys structure, so two keys whose addresses share a prefix have no mathematical relationship to each other. The matching keys are uniformly scattered across the range. A million samples from that set carries no information about which candidate the puzzle creator chose.

And since #135 came up recently. #71 has no exposed pubkey, so it remains pure brute force over 2^70 with a hash per candidate. Prefix data does not shortcut that.

So what am I actually charging for?

Labour and compute, not a lottery ticket. Several months of GPU time, frame extraction across the channel's full back catalogue, and an OCR pipeline built specifically to defeat the distortion the uploader applied. The dataset does not exist anywhere else because nobody else has done this work. That is what the price reflects. If that isn't worth it to you, don't donate in the wallet below — I'd rather have no donations than a community member who expected something else.

What you might actually want it for

- Testing whether the channel's key generator is uniform or biased. That is a fact about the generator, not the puzzle, and it's the only genuinely open question in here as far as I can tell.

- A ~1M-row exclusion list of in-range keys confirmed not to be the answer.

- Sample data for statistical work on the range. (if you have a data science background)

Terms

The idea is simple: as a community, you can contribute any amount you like—from $10 on up—to our designated wallet.

Wallet address => bc1qg2ay6jvcvqd4f8r35acp7738932s6ulssuzq0u

Once the total balance in the wallet reaches our community goal of $500 USD, I will immediately release and share the Full Database with everyone.

This way, the cost is shared, and we unlock the resource together as soon as the target is met!

Happy to answer anything about the extraction pipeline or the verification method.

PS: These prefixes are often called "BS prefixes" for a reason, so think twice before sending anything. Let's see what happens :)

Talk is cheap, code/data is better. I shared a sample and an extraction breakdown for verification. If you've got a public link to 1 million cleaned keys, let’s see it! If not, I’m happy to be the first to unlock it for everyone.

I totally get why you'd be cautious, but Ufile is a standard, legitimate site. To make everyone more comfortable, I'm updating my strategy. Going forward, you will receive a portion of the 1-million list that exactly matches your contribution. Donate 1% of the total, get 1% of the list. It's that simple and transparent. And please suggest a website that you trust where i can upload the files, not google drive for sure.

Ok just give me sometime to write the proper code for this, because i need to convert the back to decimal and arrange them based on that before running the checks.

ight hopefully the distribution is uniform, maybe we can optimize the search by skipping some areas

Here's a full picture of the gap distribution across all 988,778 consecutive key pairs:

Gap Statistics

Min 12,865,720

P25 1,158,096,892,696

Median 4,886,632,342,596

Mean 1,193,975,336,099,036

P75 543,079,737,837,516

P90 3,947,994,481,208,454

P99 15,759,403,486,867,302

Max 78,554,349,498,788,176

Std Dev 3,172,687,772,241,761

Key takeaways:

  • The distribution is heavily right-skewed — 50% of gaps are under ~4.9 billion, but the mean is 244x larger due to a few enormous gaps

  • The top 1% of gaps are each over 15 quadrillion — these are the real "holes" in the keyspace

I ran this script on the 1M original data so, If you found this information helpful please:

  • Don't hesitate to donate to the bitcoin wallet I included on this discussion's first message.

  • If it helped you find the key in a shorter time than your previous strategies, please send an appreciation bonus from the puzzle 71 :)

@lordluis

I have 230k.

https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Mrluis-Naka/MasterKeyWeb/refs/heads/main/VANITYKEYFOUND2.txt

Thanks for sharing, but these are 1PWo3Je prefixes not 1PWo3JeB, Your 230K list contains only 8651 1PWo3JeB prefix which represents only 0.008651% of the data in my list. that one letter counts. by the way, my list contains 17K prefixes of 1PWo3JeBj which is even more closed to the real puzzle.

Update: the release is now automatic.

https://prefixes71.vercel.app/

I said I'd share the list once the community funded it. Rather than asking anyone to trust me with a file host, a DM, or a promise to deliver later, I built the release so it runs itself:

The site reads the total amount the wallet has ever received directly from the public blockchain, prices it in USD, and unlocks that share of the database on the page, for everyone, automatically.

  • Every $1 received unlocks 0.1% of the rows

  • At $1,000 total received, 100% of the database is public

  • The unlock is cumulative and shared — no accounts, no per-person delivery, no "your 1%". Whatever has been funded is visible to every single visitor, including people who sent nothing

  • It only ever goes up. Nothing re-locks. I can't take it back, and I can't hand a different version to different people

Happy to answer anything about the pipeline, the OCR preprocessing, or the verification method, same as before.
