1. Parties

This Distance Sales Agreement ("Agreement") is entered into between the following parties:

Seller: btcpuzzle.info — platform operator providing digital services at btcpuzzle.info. Contact is available via the platform's support interface.

Buyer: Any individual or entity that places a paid order through the btcpuzzle.info platform, identified by their registered platform account.

By completing a purchase on the platform, the Buyer confirms that they have read, understood, and accepted the terms of this Agreement in full.

2. Subject & Scope

This Agreement governs the sale and delivery of digital services and products offered by btcpuzzle.info to the Buyer via the platform's online interface.

This Agreement applies to all current and future paid offerings on the platform, including but not limited to subscription plans, one-time service credits, compute resource access, and any premium features that may be introduced over time.

All purchases made through the platform are subject to this Agreement. The Seller reserves the right to update the terms of this Agreement at any time. Updated terms will apply to orders placed after the effective date of the update.

3. Products & Services

btcpuzzle.info offers exclusively digital products and services. No physical goods are sold. Current and potential future offerings include the following:

CloudSearch: A managed cloud-based Bitcoin puzzle scanning compute service. The Buyer's allocated budget is forwarded to compute infrastructure providers to fund GPU scanning capacity on their behalf. Delivery is immediate upon payment confirmation.

Premium Features: Enhanced platform capabilities, higher operational limits, priority access, or additional dashboard functionality. Specific features are described at the point of sale and are activated immediately upon payment.

Subscription Plans: Recurring access to a defined set of platform services for a defined billing period. Activated immediately and valid for the subscribed duration.

Service Credits: Prepaid balance applicable toward future platform services. Credited to the Buyer's account balance immediately upon payment.

The characteristics, scope, and pricing of each product or service are displayed to the Buyer on the relevant purchase page prior to completing the order. The Buyer is responsible for reviewing these details before confirming a purchase.

4. Order & Contract Formation

A binding contract is formed between the Seller and the Buyer at the moment the Buyer successfully completes payment through the platform's checkout flow. The order process proceeds as follows:

The Buyer selects a product or service and reviews its description, pricing, and applicable terms on the purchase page. The Buyer proceeds to the checkout interface, provides payment details, and reviews the order summary including product name and total price. The Buyer then confirms the purchase and payment is processed by the designated payment provider. Upon successful payment confirmation, the purchased service is activated on the Buyer's account and an order confirmation is displayed on-screen. A confirmation record is also available in the Buyer's account dashboard.

The Seller reserves the right to cancel or refuse an order in cases of suspected fraud, technical error in pricing, or other exceptional circumstances. In such cases, any payment collected will be refunded in full.

The Buyer is responsible for ensuring their account is in good standing prior to placing an order. Orders placed on suspended or restricted accounts may be cancelled.

5. Price & Payment

All prices on the platform are denominated and charged exclusively in United States Dollars (USD). The price displayed at the time of checkout is the final amount the Buyer will be charged, inclusive of any applicable fees unless otherwise stated.

Credit / debit card: Processed via a licensed payment service provider. Card data is handled exclusively by the payment provider and is not stored by the Seller. Payments are subject to the payment provider's own terms and security standards. The Buyer's card issuer may apply currency conversion charges if the card is not denominated in USD; such charges are outside the Seller's control and are the Buyer's responsibility.

Cryptocurrency: Bitcoin and/or other supported cryptocurrencies may be accepted for certain services. The USD-equivalent amount is determined at the time of payment based on the prevailing exchange rate applied by the payment mechanism in use. Cryptocurrency payments are irreversible by their technical nature. The Seller is not responsible for exchange rate fluctuations between the time of initiating and confirming a cryptocurrency payment.

The Seller reserves the right to adjust pricing for future purchases at any time. Pricing changes do not affect orders already completed and activated.

For CloudSearch and any compute-forwarding service: the payment amount is transmitted to the underlying infrastructure provider at or immediately after purchase. This is an automatic, real-time process and cannot be reversed once initiated.

6. Delivery & Activation

All products and services sold on btcpuzzle.info are digital in nature and are delivered electronically. Delivery occurs automatically and immediately upon payment confirmation. There is no physical shipment and no manual activation delay under normal circumstances.

For compute services such as CloudSearch, funds are forwarded to the infrastructure provider and scanning capacity is made available to the Buyer's account immediately. For premium features and subscription plans, the feature set is activated on the Buyer's account and becomes immediately accessible. For service credits, the credit amount is added to the Buyer's account balance and is immediately available for use.

In the event of a technical failure preventing immediate activation, the Seller will resolve the issue within a reasonable timeframe. If activation cannot be completed within 48 hours due to a fault on the Seller's side, the Buyer is entitled to a full refund.

The Buyer acknowledges that access to the service requires an active internet connection and a registered, active platform account. Delivery failure caused by the Buyer's account being suspended, banned, or inaccessible due to the Buyer's own actions does not constitute a delivery failure on the part of the Seller.

7. Right of Withdrawal

Because all products and services offered on btcpuzzle.info are digital in nature and performance begins immediately upon payment, the standard right of withdrawal that may apply under various consumer protection frameworks does not apply once a service has been activated or funds have been forwarded.

By completing a purchase, the Buyer expressly consents to the immediate commencement of the digital service and acknowledges that they waive any applicable withdrawal right from that moment forward.

For CloudSearch and any compute-forwarding service, the right of withdrawal is waived at the moment of purchase, as funds are forwarded to the infrastructure provider immediately upon payment. This process is technically irreversible. For premium features and subscriptions, withdrawal rights are waived once the feature has been activated on the Buyer's account. For service credits that have not yet been spent, a refund request may be submitted under the conditions described in Section 8.

This waiver does not affect any rights the Buyer may have in cases of defective or materially non-conforming performance by the Seller.

8. Refund Policy

Given the digital and immediately-delivered nature of our services, refunds are subject to strict conditions. The Buyer may submit a refund request at any time through the platform's support interface; however, approval is subject to the following conditions.

Credit card payments — partial refund possible:

Refunds are only available for unspent balance. Any portion of the payment that has already been forwarded to an infrastructure provider or consumed by an active service is not eligible for refund. The refund amount will reflect only the unused, unallocated portion of the Buyer's account balance at the time the refund request is reviewed and approved.

Approved refunds are returned to the original credit or debit card used for payment. The refunded amount will be in USD. Processing time depends on the payment provider and the Buyer's card issuer, and typically takes between 5 and 14 business days. The Seller does not charge an administrative fee for processing refund requests; however, any transaction fees charged by the payment provider in connection with the refund may be deducted from the refunded amount.

Cryptocurrency payments — refunds not currently available:

Payments made via cryptocurrency are not eligible for refund at this time. This limitation exists due to the irreversible nature of on-chain transactions and the absence of a reliable technical mechanism to return funds to the Buyer's originating wallet. The Seller may introduce cryptocurrency refund capabilities in the future, and this policy will be updated accordingly if and when such a mechanism becomes available.

How to submit a refund request:

To request a refund, log in to your account on btcpuzzle.info and navigate to the support or contact section. Submit your request specifying the order in question and the reason for the request. The Seller will review the request and respond within 5 business days. If the request is approved, the refund will be initiated promptly and you will be notified through the platform interface.

The Seller reserves the right to deny refund requests where there is evidence of abuse, fraud, or violation of the platform's Terms of Service.

9. Buyer Obligations

By placing an order, the Buyer agrees to the following obligations:

The Buyer confirms that they are at least 18 years of age and legally capable of entering into a binding agreement. The Buyer confirms that the payment method used belongs to them or that they are duly authorized to use it. The Buyer agrees to provide accurate information during the purchase process and to maintain the security of their account credentials.

The Buyer agrees to use purchased services solely for their intended purpose and in accordance with the platform's Terms of Service and applicable laws. Services may not be used for fraudulent, illegal, or abusive purposes. The Buyer acknowledges the digital and immediately-consumed nature of the services and the refund limitations described in Section 8.

The Buyer is responsible for maintaining a stable internet connection and a compatible hardware and software environment necessary to access the purchased service. The Buyer agrees not to attempt to reverse-engineer, redistribute, resell, or sublicense any purchased service unless explicitly permitted by the Seller in writing.

10. Seller Obligations

The Seller commits to the following obligations under this Agreement:

To deliver the purchased service to the Buyer's account immediately upon successful payment, as described in Section 6. To maintain the platform in a reasonably operational state and to communicate planned or unexpected downtime through available platform channels. To process approved refund requests within the timeframes specified in Section 8. To protect the Buyer's personal and payment data in accordance with the platform's Privacy Policy. To provide accessible customer support for order-related issues via the platform's support interface.

The Seller does not guarantee uninterrupted availability of third-party infrastructure providers used in the delivery of CloudSearch or similar services. Service interruptions caused by third-party providers are outside the Seller's direct control; however, the Seller will make reasonable efforts to minimize disruption and communicate any material issues to affected users.

11. Intellectual Property

All software, interfaces, content, branding, and technical systems made available through btcpuzzle.info are the intellectual property of the Seller or are used under valid license. No purchase grants the Buyer any ownership rights, source code access, or intellectual property license beyond the right to use the purchased service for its intended purpose during the applicable service period.

The Buyer may not copy, modify, distribute, reverse-engineer, decompile, or create derivative works based on any part of the platform without the Seller's prior written consent.

12. Limitation of Liability

The Seller's total liability to the Buyer arising from or related to any single order shall not exceed the amount paid by the Buyer for that order in USD. The Seller is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to lost profits, lost data, missed puzzle rewards, or loss arising from cryptocurrency market fluctuation.

The Seller is not responsible for losses arising from the Buyer's failure to secure their account credentials, use of incompatible hardware or software, or actions taken by third-party infrastructure providers beyond the Seller's control.

Nothing in this Agreement excludes or limits liability that cannot be waived under mandatory applicable law.

13. Dispute Resolution

In the event of a dispute arising from this Agreement, the Buyer is encouraged to first contact the Seller through the platform's support interface to seek an amicable resolution. The Seller will make good-faith efforts to resolve disputes within a reasonable timeframe.

If a resolution cannot be reached through direct communication, both parties agree to attempt resolution through binding arbitration before pursuing litigation. The arbitration shall be conducted in English. Each party shall bear its own costs unless the arbitrator determines otherwise.

This Agreement is governed by and construed in accordance with generally accepted principles of international commercial law. Neither party waives any rights that cannot be excluded under the mandatory consumer protection laws of the Buyer's country of residence.

14. Miscellaneous

If any provision of this Agreement is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

The Seller's failure to enforce any provision of this Agreement shall not constitute a waiver of the right to enforce that provision in the future.

This Agreement, together with the platform's Privacy Policy and Terms of Service, constitutes the entire agreement between the parties with respect to the subject matter herein and supersedes any prior representations or understandings.

The Buyer may not assign or transfer any rights or obligations under this Agreement to a third party without the Seller's prior written consent. The Seller may assign this Agreement in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or substantially all of its assets.

Any notices or communications required under this Agreement may be delivered through the platform's support and notification interface.
